  1. I still can't understand why this fraudulent builder still commands premium. This builder has made lives of PL residents a living hell and that too after charging such a premium price of flats and maintenance charges. On every night, the entire PL's electricity runs on DG when mains are still present. Prateek Group makes a killing on DG run as they charge Rs 19 per unit. They have charged PLC for park view and there exists open sewage there. Premium maintenance of Rs 2.1 per sq ft of super area and your complaints remain unattended for months and even after many follow ups there's noone to look after. Their employees are abusive and threaten when you question them. This list goes on and on.
I request everyone to visit PL and see living hell all by yourself before even thinking about going with Prateek Group. I'm sure their license will get cancelled sooner or later..

  2. I have spent my hard earned money to buy a flat in Prateek Laurel and shifted to my flat on 17th July,2012 and immediately after shifting to flat I faced lot problems such as seepage, water, power etc. Whenever we tried to fix some items on the walls we could not do so due to use of substandard material or poor quality of cement etc. There are many flaws in the society related to structural and poor quality construction. The residents have been chasing the builder for last 1.5 years to fix the issues but the Promoter is not interested to rectify the problems. There is frequent power failure in the society and the power back up charges are exorbitant and it is very difficult to bear them by the ;middle class families residing in the Prateek Complex. My modular kitchen fell on 9th October, 2012 and when we brought to the notice of builder in writing he told that the incident took place due to blast of pressure cooker and he dined to compensate the loss of Rs.35000/-. Seepage problem still persists. Drawers of cupboard are not upto mark and have broken. Whenever we make complaint nobody gives heed to the requests of residents. Promoters staff is so trained to create news to earn money by hook or crook or we can say it is an extortion of money by making fool to the residents of Prateek Society. We were in impression that the Promoter is different from other builders but it is worst than those. The residents have been facing electricity and water problem for the last 2 years but there is no change in it. Inspite of charging two years maintenance advance he is not able to provide satisfactory service. The residents had to sign one sided agreement to take the possession of the flat and under compulsion the flat owners had to pay two years maintenance charges. The basic facilities have not been provided till date and he is not ready to extend the period of maintenance. In this complex even the facilities in common area are paid such as Gym etc. A department store opened by him in the complex charges more than MRP. When this cheating is pointed out the staff says that it was due to misstate. The buyers who wish to buy the property of Prateek think twice and be ready to face the problem which the residents of Prateek Laurel are facing.
